Coronation Street’s Tina splits from husband, then falls for a millionaire with football ties

Tina O’Brien has set tongues wagging once again—just four months after leaving her husband, the Coronation Street actress is now romantically linked to a millionaire interior designer with strong connections to Manchester United.

The 41-year-old soap star, best known for playing Sarah Platt, has reportedly fallen for Adam Fadlé, 38, a design guru who once refurbished footballer Paul Pogba’s luxury mansion in Cheshire. Their relationship emerges shortly after the collapse of her marriage to personal trainer Adam Crofts.

Fadlé founded Panoramic Properties in 2010 and quickly rose through the high-end design world. His firm specialises in luxury interiors and boasts an impressive portfolio, including Pogba’s lavish residence, which features in the company’s official showcase.

A description on the company’s website paints a picture of Fadlé as a visionary. With a degree in architecture and a flair for bold, boundary-pushing design, he has built a business now recognised internationally as a leader in the industry.

It seems O’Brien has swapped gym routines for grand designs. Sources say she and Fadlé are “mad” about each other and described the chemistry as undeniable. “They couldn’t keep their hands off each other,” one insider said. Others close to the actress revealed she simply “fell out of love” with Crofts—and straight into the arms of another Adam.

Despite the abrupt switch, friends say there’s no bad blood. Tina and her ex-husband remain on good terms and continue to co-parent their young son. The couple had been together since 2011 and married in 2018.

This marks the second major relationship in the public eye for O’Brien. She previously dated her Coronation Street co-star Ryan Thomas, who played Jason Grimshaw. The pair had a daughter, Scarlett, now 16, before calling it quits in 2009.

But not all post-breakup moments have been smooth. In 2022, Tina allegedly clashed with Thomas during a row outside a friend’s party. Reports claimed she smashed the wing mirror of his Range Rover with a baseball bat, leaving visible damage and scratches. While neither party publicly confirmed the incident, the tension between them was evident.

O’Brien first joined Coronation Street in 1999, with her character Sarah going through some of the show’s most dramatic plots—teenage pregnancy, toxic relationships, and a stepfather who turned out to be a serial killer. She left in 2007 but returned in 2015 and has stayed on ever since.

Her on-screen roles might involve drama, but it’s her real life that’s now capturing public attention. The timing of her new romance—so soon after a six-year marriage ended—has raised eyebrows. That her new partner not only shares her ex-husband’s name but also moves in celebrity football circles adds another layer of intrigue.

Fadlé, meanwhile, continues to grow his luxury design empire. His work with high-profile footballers has brought him considerable prestige and wealth, and his firm remains a staple in the world of elite interiors.

While neither Tina nor Adam Fadlé has publicly confirmed the relationship, the speculation is fuelled by sightings, affectionate displays, and insider claims. And judging by Tina’s history, she’s never been one to shy away from a storyline—even off the cobbles.

As she steps into this new chapter, it seems Tina O’Brien is once again the centre of attention—only this time, it’s not her script that’s turning heads, but her real-life choices.
