Health expert warns that coffee and EMF exposure create a stress cycle, leading to fatigue, anxiety, and sleep issues.
That first sip of morning coffee while scrolling through your phone feels like the perfect start to the day—but it might be doing more harm than good. According to health and wellness educator Norbert Heuser, two hidden stressors—coffee and electromagnetic fields (EMFs)—could be keeping your body in a constant state of tension.
Coffee triggers the adrenal glands to release stress hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, giving a temporary boost but ultimately leading to fatigue, irritability, and disrupted sleep. “Coffee isn’t a source of energy,” Heuser warns. “It’s a loan you’ll have to repay—with interest—in the form of your health.”

To combat these effects, Heuser suggests reducing coffee intake, turning off Wi-Fi at night, staying hydrated, using speakerphone or wired headphones, and taking breaks from screens. A four-week caffeine detox can also reveal just how much these habits affect your mood and energy.
Understanding the link between caffeine and EMFs can help break the stress cycle and improve overall well-being.
