‘Lipsing every girl’: Axed Megan slams Love Island’s Conor for string of flirtations

Axed islander Megan Forte Clarke says she’s stopped watching Conor’s lips every girl in the villa

Love Island’s Megan Forte Clarke has taken a pointed swipe at Conor Phillips, the villa heartthrob she was briefly getting to know before being dumped—and she’s not hiding her disappointment.

When Megan left the villa earlier this month, she famously said she would “wait for Conor” on the outside, despite their connection only just beginning. But now, after watching him crack on with a string of other girls, Megan has admitted she’s tuned out—emotionally and literally.

“I’ve stopped watching now really,” she told Capital radio. “I don’t need to see him lipsing every girl every two seconds.”

It’s a sharp contrast to the hopeful goodbye she gave when she left the show. Back then, Megan seemed keen to see what the future held with Conor. Now, she’s clearly having second thoughts after watching him move from Helena to Toni, to Emily, to Emma—and most recently, to Shakira.

“He is making big moves in there now,” Megan said, with a laugh that barely masked her irritation. “I suppose how this all ages depends on how long I was willing to wait.”

Conor’s on-screen journey has been anything but linear. He was initially coupled with Helena, before shifting his attention to bombshell Toni, who he said was more his type. But the minute Emily strutted into the villa, Toni was yesterday’s news—and soon enough, Megan entered the picture.

Though Megan and Conor shared flirty banter and a kiss, their budding connection was cut short when Megan was dumped from the island. Conor barely looked back.

Soon after Casa Amor, Conor returned with Emma—his former rival Harry’s ex—leaving Emily dumped and Megan clearly rattled on the outside.

When asked directly if she was still holding out hope for a reunion, Megan didn’t mince her words.

“He’s moving on. I can’t say I expected him to leave [for me], but I didn’t expect to see him lipsing everyone like that either,” she said. “But you do you, boo.”

Fans on social media have had mixed reactions to Megan’s comments. Some applauded her for speaking up and calling out Conor’s playboy antics, while others suggested that Love Island is a game and no one should be surprised when Islanders explore multiple connections.

Still, Megan’s remarks reflect a growing trend this season—contestants leaving the villa feel blindsided by how quickly relationships shift once they’re gone.

Meanwhile, Conor doesn’t seem too concerned. On Sunday night’s episode, he was seen heading to the Firepit for a heart-to-heart with Shakira, describing their connection as “uncharted territory.”

His long trail of flirtation has left behind emotional fallout and plenty of drama—but if Conor’s aware, he’s not letting it slow him down.

Megan, for her part, seems to be moving on, even if she’s doing so with a raised eyebrow and a few spicy quotes. Whether she’ll confront Conor face-to-face on Aftersun remains to be seen—but fans would certainly be tuning in if she does.
