A 24 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a fatal stabbing in Mitcham left a 39 year old dead, sending shockwaves through the community

In response to the tragedy, local authorities have ramped up patrols in the area in an effort to reassure residents and restore a sense of safety. The London Ambulance Service responded swiftly to the scene, but despite their best efforts, the victim could not be saved.

Detective Chief Inspector Foxwell has assured the victim’s family that the police will provide unwavering support throughout the investigation and during this incredibly difficult time.
