Niall Horan buys £10m mansion to settle down with Amelia Woodley—ditching fame for quiet luxury

Niall Horan has just taken a bold new step—into a £10 million home in West London where he plans to settle down with long-time girlfriend Amelia Woodley and their shared dog.

The former One Direction star, 31, reportedly sought a place that felt more mature, more grounded, and better suited for the next phase of his life. “A little more grown up” was how one source close to the singer described his intentions, as quoted by The Sun.

The new property is no modest upgrade. With six bedrooms sprawled across multiple floors, it’s described as “a proper family home.” But the location might raise even more eyebrows than the price tag. Horan now counts Holly Willoughby and Ant and Dec among his neighbours in one of London’s most exclusive enclaves.

“They’ve been spotted a few times in the neighbourhood now,” the source added. “But people leave Niall alone and let him just get on with his day.”

And that’s exactly what he wants. “It’s lovely that someone as well-known as Niall can live the quiet life he’s always wanted,” they said.

Horan has always shunned the glare of excessive celebrity. Despite his global stardom since his One Direction days, he’s cultivated a far more understated image, trading in scandal for songwriting and glitzy parties for peaceful domesticity.

He and Amelia, who’ve been together since 2020, have kept their relationship largely out of the spotlight. This new move seems to mirror that same low-key energy: big in value, understated in style.

While fans might be shocked by the scale of the purchase, it makes perfect sense for Horan. He recently wrapped up The Show world tour in October 2024 and is now focusing on what’s next, both personally and professionally.

Speaking to Golf Pass last month, Horan revealed that he’s gearing up to begin work on his fourth studio album. “I am literally, this week, just about to sit down,” he said. “I’ve been accumulating some ideas, but I’m going to sit down and start writing my next album.”

The timing couldn’t be better. With his new home offering space, privacy, and stability, Horan seems to be carving out an ideal creative retreat.

It’s a far cry from the chaos of touring or the teen-idol frenzy that once followed his every move. Now, he’s building a different kind of life: one anchored by love, music, and a deliberately chosen distance from the spotlight.

There’s no word yet on whether the new home hints at future family plans, but with six bedrooms and a “grown-up” vibe, speculation is inevitable.

What’s clear is that Horan isn’t just buying property—he’s buying peace. In a world that often demands more and faster from its stars, he’s chosen to slow down, invest in privacy, and put down roots with the woman he’s been quietly devoted to for half a decade.

And for fans who’ve grown up with him, that move might be his most relatable yet.
