European pre-orders begin for Samsung’s sleek new foldables, with free storage upgrades on offer
Samsung’s new generation of foldable smartphones is now available for pre-order across Europe, following their global debut at the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this week. The lineup includes the premium Galaxy Z Fold7, the stylish Galaxy Z Flip7, and the affordable Galaxy Z Flip7 FE—Samsung’s first “Fan Edition” foldable.
As part of the launch offer, all three models come with a free storage upgrade during the pre-order period, giving early adopters more space at no extra cost.
Galaxy Z Fold7: Slim, Light and Power-Packed
The Galaxy Z Fold7 is the slimmest and lightest in the series yet—just 8.9mm when folded and weighing 215g, lighter even than the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It features a larger 6.5” cover screen and an expansive 8.0” inner display, an upgrade from last year’s Fold6 (6.3” and 7.6” respectively).
Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the new 200MP main camera, with early samples promising impressive detail and colour depth. Despite the upgrades, the Fold7 retains a 4,400mAh battery, prioritising slimness over power.
Pre-order details:
- 12/512GB – £1,700 (Amazon UK)
- 12/512GB – €2,085 (Amazon DE)
Galaxy Z Flip7: Bigger Battery, Bigger Screens
The Z Flip7 combines style and function with a 13.7mm folded profile, slimmer than the Flip6. It introduces a larger 4.1” cover display and a 6.9” inner display, offering a more immersive experience. The battery gets a major boost—4,300mAh, a 300mAh jump from the previous model.
Under the hood, the Flip7 is powered by the Exynos 2500 chipset—the same in both the European and US variants. While camera hardware remains mostly unchanged, the addition of 10-bit HDR video support elevates its video capabilities.
Pre-order details:
- 12/512GB – £950 (Amazon UK)
- 12/512GB – €1,185 (Amazon DE)
Galaxy Z Flip7 FE: Budget-Friendly Foldable
Samsung’s new Galaxy Z Flip7 FE brings foldables to a wider audience. Priced $200 below last year’s Flip6, it shares the same design DNA, but swaps in the older Exynos 2400 processor and comes in more modest 8/128GB and 8/256GB configurations.
Despite the cutbacks, pre-ordering gets users the 256GB model for the price of the 128GB, making it an excellent entry point into foldable tech.
Pre-order details:
- 8/256GB – £750 (Amazon UK)
- 8/256GB – €985 (Amazon DE)
Galaxy Watch8: Thinner, Brighter and Smarter
Also revealed was the Galaxy Watch8, Samsung’s slimmest smartwatch yet at just 8.6mm thick. With a new “cushion design”, it promises improved comfort and better sensor stability during workouts.
The Watch8’s display is 50% brighter, peaking at 3,000 nits, while battery life is slightly extended. It still runs on the Exynos W1000, the same chip as the Watch7, but promises improved overall performance.
Hands-on previews show a focus on wellness and usability, reinforcing Samsung’s commitment to smart, stylish health tech.
